In performing our tasks we consider following while undertaking the projects:
- Accept only engagements for which we are qualified by our experience and competence.
- Keep ourselves informed on the latest developments in techniques, equipment and processes.
- Serve our client with integrity, competence, and objectivity and immediately acknowledge any influence on our objectivity to our clients and will offer to withdraw from consulting engagement when our objectivity or integrity may be impaired.
- Agree independently and in advance on the fees and expenses and will charge fees and expenses that are reasonable, legitimate and commensurate with the services we deliver and the responsibility we accept.
- Disclose to our clients in advance any fees or commissions that we will receive for equipment, supplies or services that we recommend to our clients.
- Maintain the highest standard of personal and professional conduct in our dealings with clients.
- Maintain loyalty to the client who hires us and pursue our client's objectives in ways that are consistent with the client's best interests and its legal obligations.
- Maintain the confidentiality of privileged information entrusted to us by our clients and their employees.
- Protect all information and resources available to us from loss, theft and misuse.
- Not allow conflicts of interest which provide a competitive advantage to one client through our use of confidential information from another client who is a direct competitor without that client's permission.
- Always communicate with our clients in a truthful and accurate manner.
- Serve as a reliable source of information on matters pertaining to business consulting.
- Recognize and discharge our responsibility to uphold all laws and regulations governing the policies and activities of our profession.
- In our interactions, treat client's employees fairly, with dignity and respect.
- Provide professional services to all qualified candidates regardless of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, gender, age, income level or physical handicap.
- Respect the rights and interests of our competitors.
- Help create and sustain an atmosphere conducive to the spirit of this code.
- We will not advertise our services in a deceptive manner and will not misrepresent the consulting profession, consulting firms, or sole practitioners.
